My KoKo pre-launch programme

Terms and conditions

These terms govern your participation in the My KoKo pre-launch programme (the "Programme"). By registering, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not register.

1. Who we are

The Programme is operated by My KoKo Group OÜ, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Estonia.

In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to My KoKo Group OÜ. "You" and "your" refer to you, the participant.

2. What the Programme is

The Programme is a pre-launch community-building initiative. It is not a final commercial offer. The Programme is designed to gather a community of members before the public launch of My KoKo products. Members receive:

A discount coupon usable on My KoKo products once the brand opens for purchase (value depending on the group you are placed in, see section 6).
Automatic entry into a giveaway of five travel experiences (see section 7).
Access to community updates and occasional giveaways on our social media channels.

No purchase is required to participate. The Programme does not commit My KoKo Group OÜ to launch any specific product on any specific date.

3. Eligibility

To participate, you must:

Provide a valid email address that you own and control.
Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when filling the registration form.
Reside in a country where participation in such promotional programmes is legal.

Age: you must be at least fifteen (15) years old at the time of registration. Participants under the age of legal majority in their country of residence must have a parent or legal guardian who can claim any prize on their behalf, accept these terms on their behalf, and represent them in any communication with us. By registering as a minor, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian is aware of your participation and accepts these terms on your behalf.

Employees of My KoKo Group OÜ, its affiliates, suppliers, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win the trip giveaway, but may otherwise participate in the Programme.

The Programme is void where prohibited by local law (see also section 11 on jurisdictional restrictions).

4. How to enter

To participate, you must:

Follow the official My KoKo account on Instagram, and remain a follower at the moment of the trip giveaway draw. Following the account alone does not register you in the Programme.
Complete the registration form accessible via the link in our Instagram bio, providing accurate information.
Submit the form. Your registration is locked at the moment of successful submission.

If one of our field agents handed you a physical card with a unique code, you may enter that code in the dedicated field of the form. Entering a valid code grants you one additional chance in the trip giveaway. Codes are single-use and non-transferable. The card itself has no monetary value.

Providing your Instagram handle

The form invites you to provide your Instagram handle. We strongly recommend that you do so. Providing your handle:

Allows us to verify quickly that you follow our account.
Helps us identify your participation as genuine and unique.
Speeds up the prize claim process if you are selected.

If you choose not to provide your handle, we reserve the right to ask you to prove that you follow our Instagram account by sending a dated screenshot when prizes are claimed. Failure to provide such proof when requested will result in disqualification.

If the handle you provide is incorrect, does not belong to you, or any other information you submit is false, falsified, or misleading, your participation will be annulled without compensation, including retroactively if discovered after a prize has been awarded.

5. One participation per person

This is one of the most important rules of the Programme.

Only one (1) registration per person is permitted. This rule is reminded at the start of the registration form. By registering, you confirm that you have not previously registered and will not register again under another identity, email address, or means.

We reserve the right to disqualify, without notice and without compensation, any person who:

Registers more than once.
Uses fake identities, disposable email addresses, automated scripts, bots, or any other means to create multiple entries.
Acts in concert with others to game the Programme.

Multiple registrations under the same postal address: if we detect more than one registration originating from the same postal address, we may contact the participants and ask for justification, including identity verification, to confirm that the registrations correspond to genuinely separate, real individuals. Failure to provide such justification when requested will result in disqualification of the suspect registrations.

Disqualification applies even retroactively. If we discover after the fact, including after a prize has been awarded, that a participant violated this rule, they will lose all rights under the Programme: group assignment, coupon, giveaway entry, and any prize already received. We reserve the right to require restitution of any prize already delivered.

6. Group assignment

Each registered member is automatically placed into one of five groups based on their registration position:

After 50,000 registrations

The Programme does not close once 50,000 valid registrations have been received. Registrations continue to be accepted. Members registering beyond position 50,000 receive:

A 20% discount coupon on their first order with My KoKo, instead of the fixed-value coupons above.
Full and equal eligibility for the trip giveaway (see section 7), on the same terms as all other members.

The Programme may be closed at our discretion at any time, with notice.

Coupon conditions

Coupons are personal and non-transferable. They are linked to the email address used at registration.
Coupons can only be used once, and only on the official My KoKo online store.
Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash and have no monetary value outside the My KoKo store.
Coupons may be subject to a minimum order value, communicated at launch.
Coupons may not be combined with other promotional discounts unless explicitly stated.
Coupons will have a validity period communicated at launch.
If My KoKo Group OÜ does not launch a commercial product within twenty-four (24) months of your registration date, the coupon obligation lapses without any compensation owed to you.

7. The trip giveaway

All valid Programme members are automatically entered into a giveaway of five travel experiences.

What each trip includes

Round-trip economy flights from the winner's country of residence, for four people.
Approximately seven nights of accommodation in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort selected by us. The exact duration may be adjusted by us based on flight availability and operational considerations, but will be in that range.
Standard transfers between airport and accommodation.

Indicative destinations

The five destinations are indicative and currently planned as:

Vietnam
Thailand
Mexico
Crete (Greece)
A fifth destination to be selected by community vote prior to launch.

Destinations are not contractually locked. We reserve the right to replace any destination with one of comparable value and standing if events beyond our reasonable control (safety, regulatory, supplier availability, force majeure) make a destination unsafe, impractical, or unavailable.

How winners are drawn

One winner is drawn at random per destination, for five (5) winners total.
Each Programme member receives one base entry in the draw.
Members who entered a valid physical card code receive one additional entry.
Members whose referred friends successfully registered receive one additional entry per validated referral, capped at two (2) referrals (see section 8).
The draw will take place after the close of the Programme registration phase or at a date we announce.
To be eligible at the moment of the draw, you must still be following our official Instagram account and your registration must remain in good standing under these terms.

Claiming a prize

Winners will be notified by email at the address provided at registration.
Winners must respond within fourteen (14) days of notification to claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes may be re-drawn at our discretion.
Travel dates must be agreed with us within six (6) months of the prize being claimed, subject to availability.
Winners and their three travel companions are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and any required vaccinations. We are not responsible for any travel disruption, refusal of entry, or other travel issue.
Any taxes, fees, or charges arising from receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Meals, drinks, excursions, personal expenses, and any cost not explicitly listed above are not included.
Companions must be at least 18 years old, unless accompanied by a legal guardian who is one of the four travellers.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. It cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by local law.

Content obligations of trip winners

Accepting a trip prize means accepting the following content obligations. By claiming the prize, you agree to:

Image rights: you grant My KoKo Group OÜ the right to use your image, voice, and the content you create during the trip for editorial and brand-documentation purposes across our online presence (Instagram, website, newsletter, blog, social channels). This grant does not extend to commercial advertising campaigns, paid media, or product endorsements without your separate written agreement.

Content deliverables: during the trip you will create and deliver to us a minimum of:

10 photographs, of which at least 4 must clearly show you (and/or your travel companions) enjoying the trip. Of the 10 photographs, at least 2 must clearly feature a coconut drink (yours or in context).
5 videos, with your voice commentary describing what you are experiencing (arrival, activities, meals, moments). The videos do not need to show your face. Of the 5 videos, at least 2 must clearly feature a coconut drink.
A minimum of 10 Instagram stories posted during the trip, tagging the official My KoKo Instagram account.

We will provide you with a dedicated folder (cloud-based) where you can upload the deliverables. We will support you with creative ideas and direction if helpful, but the content must be produced by you.

Failure to deliver this content, or to deliver it in good faith, may result in us asking you to reimburse a reasonable portion of the trip's value. We will always try to resolve issues collaboratively before doing so.

8. The referral mechanic

At the end of the registration form, you may optionally provide the email addresses of up to two (2) friends.

For each friend who registers successfully via the email you provided, you earn one additional entry in the trip giveaway.
Maximum two (2) referral entries per member, regardless of how many emails are submitted.
Referral entries do not change your group assignment.
By submitting a friend's email, you confirm you have their consent to share their email with us.
We will contact referred friends once, with a single invitation email. They are free to register or not. We will not contact them again unless they register themselves.
Self-referrals, duplicate emails, fake addresses, and fraudulent referrals will be disqualified and may result in the disqualification of the referrer.

9. Communication and consent

By registering for the Programme, you give your explicit consent for us to contact you by email for purposes related to:

Confirmation of your registration.
Programme updates (typically one (1) to two (2) emails per year with significant news).
Notification if you win a giveaway prize.
Information about the launch of My KoKo products and related offers.

You may withdraw consent at any time, fully or partially, by:

Clicking the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.
Replying directly to any email from us, telling us what you want: fewer emails, no commercial offers, full unsubscribe, etc.
Writing to mydata@my-koko.com.

Withdrawing from marketing communications does not affect your membership in the Programme, your group assignment, your coupon, or your entry in the trip giveaway. We will still contact you about giveaway results if you win, since this is operational communication, not marketing.

Day-to-day updates about the project are shared on our official Instagram account and other social media channels. We encourage members to follow and engage with our content.

10. Privacy and data protection

We collect and process the following personal data:

Name, email address, country of residence.
Postal address, where required for prize delivery or eligibility verification.
Instagram handle, where you provide it.
Registration date and position.
Unique card code, if entered.
Referred friends' email addresses, if you submit any.
Content created during a trip prize, if you are a winner.

We process this data on the legal bases of:

Performance of contract with you (running the Programme, assigning groups, contacting winners, delivering coupons and prizes).
Consent, for marketing communications.
Legitimate interest, for fraud prevention and Programme integrity (e.g. detecting duplicate registrations).
Legal obligation, where applicable.

We retain your data for the duration of the Programme and for up to twenty-four (24) months after launch, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion earlier at any time by writing to mydata@my-koko.com.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, please contact mydata@my-koko.com.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share it with service providers (email platform, hosting, analytics) under appropriate data protection agreements.

11. Jurisdictional restrictions

The Programme is designed to be open to participants worldwide. However, some jurisdictions impose specific rules, thresholds, or restrictions on promotional programmes that we may consider incompatible with the spirit and operation of this Programme.

If a jurisdiction's local rules force us to exclude its residents from participating, we will do so transparently. Members who registered before such an exclusion took effect, and who are now disqualified solely due to local regulation rather than any breach of these terms, will receive an equivalent commercial compensation at launch, such as a coupon of equivalent face value or comparable benefit, even if the giveaway prize itself cannot be delivered to them. We do not consider such residents responsible for restrictions imposed by their local authorities, and we will do our best to ensure they are not penalised.

The list of currently excluded jurisdictions, if any, will be published on the Programme page and updated as needed.

12. Changes to the Programme

The Programme is a pre-launch initiative. The launch date of My KoKo products is not fixed and may change.

We reserve the right to:

Modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and on the Programme page.
Adjust the trip destinations, durations, and details, subject to providing a comparable experience.
Adjust coupon values, group sizes, or the duration of the Programme.
Suspend or terminate the Programme at any time, for any reason, including fraud, abuse, force majeure, or business reasons.

If we materially change or terminate the Programme, members will be notified by email. Members who registered in good faith and complied with these terms will retain their group assignment and coupon, unless the Programme is terminated for reasons making the Programme genuinely unsustainable.

13. Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who:

Provides false, misleading, falsified, or fraudulent information at any point.
Registers more than once or attempts to circumvent the one-participation-per-person rule (section 5).
Does not follow the official My KoKo Instagram account at the moment of the giveaway draw.
Cannot provide proof of following the account if requested.
Uses bots, scripts, multiple accounts, or any automated or fraudulent means to register or to refer friends.
Violates any of these terms.
Engages in behaviour that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise harmful toward My KoKo Group OÜ, its team, its community, or other participants.
Acts in a way that brings the Programme or the My KoKo brand into disrepute.

Disqualification results in the loss of group assignment, coupon, and trip giveaway entry, without any compensation, and applies retroactively if the violation is discovered after a prize has been awarded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My KoKo Group OÜ is not liable for:

Any failure or delay in the registration process due to technical issues, network problems, or third-party service failures.
Any loss, damage, injury, or cost arising from your participation in the Programme, the use of a coupon, or participation in a trip.
Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

The total aggregate liability of My KoKo Group OÜ to any single participant under or in connection with the Programme is limited to the face value of the coupon assigned to that participant.

15. Intellectual property

All content related to the Programme, including the My KoKo brand name, logo, group names (the Crackers, the Drifters, the Wave, the Shore, the Horizon), visual content, copy, and creative materials, is the property of My KoKo Group OÜ or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use this content.

Members are encouraged to share Programme content on their own social media. By doing so, you grant My KoKo Group OÜ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to repost, reuse, and adapt that content for promotional purposes, subject to attribution where appropriate.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. You also have the right to use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

18. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
